Papertrade, a HyperEVM perp venue, lost ~$1.28M on 2026-10-10, about 8 hours after launch, to a cross-market oracle/quote manipulation: the suspected attacker opened oversized synthetic positions (incl. a $297M short split into ~30 positions under the per-position cap), moved Hyperliquid's ETH best bid/ask, and closed in profit against the Martingaler LP.
